Net Zero Technology Centre launches services business – DIGIT.FYI
Aberdeen-based Net Zero Technologies Centre (NZTC) has announced the launch of its new Internet Zero Technology Services company.
The new endeavour seeks to help organisations leverage technology to navigate and accelerate their journey to net zero.
Now in the fifth year of operation, the NZTC was originally establised as part of the Aberdeen City Regional Deal (ACRD), using £180 million associated with Scottish and UK Government funding with the aim of being a technology hub for the North Sea energy industry.
It should be noted that the Centre’s new commercial offering has been established without using the particular ACRD funding while still striving in order to supplement the ‘innovation activities of NZTC’.
The business launces with two services being introduced by of ‘Technology Roadmapping’ plus ‘Technology Due Diligence’, powered by the organisation’s NetZeroTS™ database.
The former aims to provide companies with high carbon emitting plants, as well as insight and foresight into emerging technologies across zero emissions power, zero routine flaring, venting plus fugitive emissions. It determines which systems can be rolled out adopted, based on a business’ decarbonisation goals.
Technologies Due Diligence is aimed at investors, with an aim to ascertain the legitimacy of a technology, its true technology readiness level, gaps in feasibility, and its potential for investment.
Speaking on the particular NZTC news page , Luca Corradi, Director, Net Zero Technology Services said: “This is an exciting time with regard to NZTC as we expand our offering and capability using the launch associated with Net Zero Technology Services and its associated solutions. We’re responding to market demand with organisations asking for specific technologies innovation insight.
“For industry, decarbonising operations plus understanding the viability and readiness of technology will be complex. We break that complexity down helping asset owners leverage technology plus investors take the guess work and risk out of their next technology expense. We’re immersed in innovation and technology trends and with this brings unmatched insights. ”
